Accommodation

You can find and book hotels through the website of the Utrecht Tourist Board: VVV Utrecht or through HotelNet.

Hotels in Utrecht can be pricey. You may want to consider the following cheaper alternatives with dormitories:

• Stayokay Bunnik, outside the city at a 20 minute walk from the University.
• Stowis, located in the city center at a 10 minute bus ride (line 11) from the University.

Location

The lectures will be given in Room 205 of the Minnaert building, Leuvenlaan 4, Utrecht.

Bus connections

Bus lines 11 and 12 run very frequently between the University and the train station in the center of Utrecht. This is a 15 minute trip.

Although tickets can be bought on the bus it is much cheaper to buy a "Strippenkaart" (multiple-trip ticket) at the train station (at the "Kiosk" in the great hall, or at the bus station below the train station), or at post offices. The trip from the city center to the university to the university costs 3 strips. You can transfer as often as you need for 1 hour, as long as you don't travel out of the city.
