Routedescription
From Schiphol Airport near Amsterdam to Utrecht: you can take a train two times per hour: --:14 / --:44 directly to Utrecht Centraal (beware of pickpockets!!). Costs € 7,30 (2nd class) and € 12,40 (1st class) for a single ticket bought at the ticket machine (Prices July 2007). Tickets bought at the ticket window cost € 0,50 extra. It is not possible to buy train tickets in the train!

From Central Station Utrecht to conference venue
From the Central Railroad Station Utrecht to University Centre De Uithof, where the University Library is: Take bus numbers 12(S) or 11, direction De Uithof/AZU, and get off the bus at busstop "Langeveldgebouw". These buses leave every 3 to 5 minutes. The bus journey will take about 15 to 20 minutes. It is a two-zone trip so you will have to stamp three strips on your "strippenkaart". The busstop "Langeveldgebouw" is directly opposite the University Library.

From Central Station Utrecht to Hotel de Biltsche Hoek
There are several busses from the Central Railroad Station Utrecht to Hotel de Biltsche Hoek: bus 50 (direction 'Wageningen'), bus 52 (direction 'Amersfoort'), bus 53 (direction 'Zeist') and bus 74 (direction 'Driebergen-Rijsenburg'). You have to get off at the busstop 'Tunneltje de Bilt' (or you can tell the busdriver you have to go to 'Hotel de Biltsche Hoek' in De Bilt).
From the busstop you have to cross the main street and turn right on the other side of the street.
It is also possible to take a taxi from Utrecht Central Station (appr. 25 euro).
From Hotel de Biltsche Hoek to conference venue
From Hotel de Biltsche Hoek special transport has been organized to the Boothzaal, University Library at De Uithof.
On Thursday, September 6, departure at 09h30
On Friday, September 7, departure at 08h40
On Saturday, September 8, departure at 08h50
They do not have the following information at the reception of the hotel: It is also possible to reach De Uithof by regular public transport. From the hotel De Biltsche Hoek you can take bus 71 (direction Nieuwegein) and get off at the busstop "Langeveldgebouw". People staying in other hotels are advised to ask the hotelreception where and at what time they can get the bus to the University Library Uithof/Boothzaal.

and return from the Faculty Club Helios to Hotel de Biltsche Hoek at 23h00.
