The PhD Day is an annual fall event organized by members of the PHD Student Council and is part of the educational program for PhD students. The PhD Day is aimed at exchanging ideas, inviting former PHD students to discuss career options, presenting scientific talks and discussing recent trends in theoretical physics. The PhD Day is primarily aimed at PhD and Master's students. Of course, staff members and postdocs are also welcome.

The 5th annual PhD Day will be held on Friday, 12 October 2012.

Every two years the DRSTP organizes the symposium Trends in Theory.
This symposium is part of the educational program for our PhD students who are encouraged to present a poster on this occasion. The symposium is an opportunity for all DRSTP members to meet and share their ideas on recent developments in the area of theoretical physics.

The 10th biennial symposium will be held on 16 + 17 May 2013.
